Customer Reviews of The Bourne Supremacy [HD DVD]
the best trilogy The Bourne movies are the best action trilogy. Matt Damon is a rare action hero. This is the Action Movie for the thinking Man.
"You Want To Go Home? Find Jason Bourne!"
Honestly, for months I skipped around purchasing this title until The Bourne Identity was available. Well The Bourne Identity is now here, so I purchased it along with this film, The Bourne Supremacy! The writing and screenplay in this film is excellent! The interactivity between Bourne and Pamela is great as Pamela is the perfect successor to Conklin in Bourne Identity! The amount of tension and emotion in each and every scene (especially the sence with Bourne and Nicky during a public protest) is amazing! Its almost like being a part of the action!

>Before purchaing this HD DVD I had only seen Bourne Supremacy once on DVD, but the HD DVD experience is on a whole other level. It has a superb picture (slightly more detailed and more colorful than Bourne Identity) and score; the special effects are 100% realistic and the sound is flawless!

>I've had this title for almost a week now and I still haven't gotten through all the special features. The Picture-In-Picture Bourne Instant Access is well done & well thought out and even counts down to big fight scenes & explosions while you view the movie and PiP extras! I appreciate this title now more than ever. Thank You Universal, Than you HD DVD!
Sometime the Sequel is as Good as the Original
Almost always, like in a three act play the second part of a trilogy is a waiting game. Things will happen to explain what was missed in the first part and there will be the inevitable lead up to the third and last part. In the Borne Supremacy (Ludlum had always planned this as a trilogy) there is no let down, in fact the action gets even more compelling and leaves hardly a body alive at the end.

>Once again, Treadstone, has come back to haunt Bourne. After two years of being on the run with Marie, he has been tracked down. But who is after him? It doesn't appear to be the CIA, so someone else is trying to clean up their own loose ends. The mole in the CIA is still there, but who was he working with and why? Bourne goes back into action to find out why he has been set up to look like the murderer of two CIA agents in Berlin. He knows some one is after him, but they also want the CIA after him. If the agents they send after him are really lucky, they won't find him.

>There are three great stunt scenes in this one, one in India, one in Berlin and then a phenomenal one in Moscow that at one point looks like the chase scene at the end of "Blues Brothers". My questions on this one are as follows: 1) why does he always travel under his Bourne name?, 2) why does he never take any time to change his appearance?, 3) why doesn't he ever change out of that totally black outfit, and 4) how come he never seems to need a shave?
