Customer Reviews of Little Texas: Greatest Hits
Little Texas hits a home run with Greatest Hits Without a doubt, since I started listening to country music about 10 years ago, Little Texas has been my favorite group. I liked all the hits that I had heard on the radio and they sung a lot of songs that I didn't know they did. My favorite was the song that crossed over into the pop charts, "What Might Have Been." But I also liked all the country hits such as "Amy's Back In Austin" and "My Love." I bought the cd about a year ago and it was well worth the money. Even the songs that I didn't know such as "You And Forever And Me" are almost as good as the hits are. Little Texas's "Peaceful Easy Feeling" is also a great remake of The Eagles classic.
Little Texas couldn't have chose a better cover for their Greatest Hits album because they hit a home run with this album! You simply can't go wrong with this album if you like good country music groups or country music period. I just wish that Little Texas was still together making more great hits today.
Two good songs
I gave this four stars just for the 1st song: "God Blessed Texas". The only other one I really enjoyed was "Kick A Little". There was nothing really wrong with the rest of the songs, they were just a little bit blah. I bought the CD for the two songs mentioned, and was satisfied with the purchase.
Simply The Best, Dude!!!!! :o)
When I first heard 'What Might Have Been', it was on the radio, wayback when (aaah, the good old days). Anyhoo, I called the radio station to ask who that was. My first taste of Little Texas, it was waycool dudes! I've not ever listened to Country music, before. To me, they had their own sound. Up until now, I've purchased most of their cd's. I also have their Greatest Hits on VHS, man that in itself was the ultimate, it was. I haven't seen their videos on tv, so it was totally awesome! I do recommend this particular cd, very much. Aloha from Hawaii, :o)
