Customer Reviews of Tell Me the Truth
Timothy is not gay! Alot of people think Timothy Schmit is gay,he is not.He is sensitive and creative and a fine bass player, singer and songwriter.I`ve enjoyed him since his Poco days, and he was a logical replacement for Randy Meisner when he left the eagles in the late 70s.If you`ve never heard Timothy`s solo work, get this CD,you will enjoy it.
This Album Plays Your Heart Strings!
Hi!
What a Hidden Gem this album is for sure. I had always known Timothy B. Schmit for his other works with the Eagles & Poco. Upon hearing this Solo Album of his, my appreciation of the depths of his talent grew immensely. The lyrics to the songs found on here are so sincere. The song Tell Me The Truth in itself just speaks volumes. I cried the first time I heard this, such a beautiful song. I love the whole complete package brought together in these songs ~~ Timothy's voice, his music and Lyrics all perfectly knit together to make these songs touch you deep inside. I would recommend this album highly, it is a treasured keepsake for sure! I hope to hear more coming from Timothy! Thanks for all of these great songs! Nancy :)
A favorite...
Timothy B Schmit is a hidden gem. For some reason he is better know for all of the "guest appearances" on other peoples albums than for his own solo work. I grew up with Poco and the Eagles and found his solo work later...wish I would have found it sooner. You'll love this and look for his latest release Feed the Fire (2001) also. He never ceases to amaze!
