Customer Reviews of Teen Titans - The Complete Third Season (DC Comics Kids Collection)
Season Three Review of Teen Titans Okay, listen and listen good. <
> <
>This is the third and next season of episodes of that superheroic team of adolecents, the Teen Titans. This slew of episodes includes "Deception" (the one where Cyborg infiltrates the HIVE academy), "X" (featuring the return of Red X, Robin's evil alter ego, except it's not really Robin now), "Betrothed" (the Titans head to Tamaran for Starfire's wedding, or so they thought), "Haunted" (Robin is seeing Slade, but not the others), "Spellbound" (Raven's new book literally comes to life), "Can I Keep Him?" (Starfire looks after a larvae from Killer Moth), and "Titans East" (introducing the new team of Titans: Speedy, Aqualad, Bumblebee, and Mas y Menos). <

>Look for the special feature "Know Your Foes" on here. This feature has a list of the villians the Titans encountered in the third season ranging from sinister, like Brother Blood and Professor Chang, to silly, like Mad Mod and Mumbo Jumbo. Also there's a hidden feature called "One Show, Two Themes". A nifty little feature about the show's theme song depending on the "mood" of the episode. (See my "inference" on my "Switched" DVD review.) <

>If the third season is that good, I wonder when season four will come out ?
Falls flat at some points, but still a good season....
Being the crazy obsessed Titan fan that I once was (I'm not anymore), I've seen almost every single episode of this show at least fifteen to twenty times. With that in mind, I'd have to say that season three is my second least favorite season of this show (season five is my least favorite). The story arc seems to go nowhere (that might just be me, considering that Cyborg is my least favorite Titan anyways), all the episodes seem kind of plain (with a few exceptions [*coughs* "Haunted" *coughs*]), and the overall season just seems to fall flat (the season finale is a perfect example of that). Don't get me wrong, it's still a good season (definately a better watch than the cr@pfest that was the fifth season), but I feel that the crew could've done better than this. And they definately did do a lot better with the fourth season!

>Let me just give you my scorebook of the overall season (I only look at animation, voice-acting, and episodes):
<
>
<
>1. Animation: Still top-notch, as always. Nothing much to say there. 5/5!
<
>2. Voice-Acting: First season? Awesome! Second season? Just as good! But the third season seems to (as I say it for the hundredth and first time) fall flat. Again, not bad, but could've done a lot better. 3/5!
<
>3. Episodes: Now here is where the grade begins to slide a little. We don't get off to the best start in the world with "Deception," but we still get a good start to the season. From there we get episodes from the awesome "X," to the bleak "Haunted," to the not-so-great-but-still-good "Betrothed," to the horrible "Titans East" season finale. Actually, half of the episodes are pretty good as a whole, but they don't stand out as much as some of the episodes from other seasons (season four's "Stranded" and season two's "How Long is Forever?", to name a few). But, even with those half in mind, the grade for the episode element is still pretty bad. 2.5/5!

>Well, they can't all be great, as I've always said. My favorite episodes are "X," "Betrothed," "Haunted," "The Beast Within," "Spellbound," and "Bunny Raven." At least the fourth season brung the show back into order, but then again, the fifth season would bring it back down. Too bad the show's done for good. This show destroys any CN show on the air right now (excluding "Ed Edd n' Eddy") on its laziest moment!

>Overall, the season gets three stars out of five. Enjoy the rest of your day!
Teen Titans Season 3
With Terra and Slade (known as Deathstroke in the comics) now gone, the plots take a new turn, with Brother Blood as the main line villain.
<
>Fans of the late 70s Teen Titans comics will be glad to see the extra Titan characters who combine to form Titans East in the two-parter which ends the season.
<
>Enjoy, and keep watching out for Season 4 and 5 releases.
