Excellent section on pronunciation
Although this book has been out of print for years, it should still be obtained by any serious student of Swedish. The opening section on pronunciation is outstanding; clear, well-written, and not too technical. The rest of the book is essentially a grammar text with exercises, so for more practical information the interested learner would need to get a more modern book like the newer "Teach Yourself Swedish" or "Colloquial Swedish". However, for traditional "grammar and translation", this book is still useful. I got my copy (1975 printing) many years ago when it was selling for [money].
