Customer Reviews of Tales Told in the Winds
Quality music for children I have this CD and highly recommend it. Tales Told in the Wind is entertaining and amusing, a wonderful introduction to the world of classical music for children.
Adults like this as well as kids.
We¹re not talking Barney, here -- grownups like this disk too! This one certainly does. I suppose I may soon wish the music came without the narration, but for now I like the stories as well. This is wonderful, imaginative and sophisticated new music, by two young composers who deserve a wide audience. Fortunately kids don¹t know to regard it as Culture, or classical, or serious music. They just know these are magical stories to listen to again & again.
The Best Children's CD I've heard
The children in my preschool classes love this CD. Its so fun to watch them listening to these wonderfully narrated tales. I can almost see their little brains at work processing the rich language and music... and their loving it!
