The cameras were able to capture some great angles and put all together they really make you feel like you're at the concert on every level (from front row, to backstage). The lights compliment the stage, the sound is excellent, the hometown crowd is energetic, and the Switchfoot guys put on a great show all around!

I thought the extras were a great addition to the DVD as well. The interview is very well put together, and gives you more insight into the band and its members. The "Meant To Live" video is so rad, and the behind-the-scenes segment is very funny. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the photo gallery and how it was put together. Usually I find the photo gallerys on music DVDs boring, but the awesome pics put together in slide show form with the instrumental version of "This Is Your Life" really make an enjoyable few minutes.

I definitely recommend this DVD to anyone who likes Switchfoot, or to anyone interested in checking out a really great rock band with true passion for what they do.

A great band in their element.
Switchfoot is a terrific band and the Beautiful Letdown is an album with some of their best songs to date. This live DVD of songs primarily from that album is a decent capturing of where Switchfoot takes there art and backs it with full integrity. The artist connection is displayed with full emotion in songs like "Dare You to Move" and the band's energy charges the stage in songs like "Meant to Live." Switchfoot is definitely one of the best bands that I have ever seen live and although this doesn't nearly capture the power behind that experience, it is about as close as you can get. The video aspect is well put together and the audio is very well mixed in that you can hear everything with terrific clearity. If only the audio had been mixed better in the heavier parts to keep with the energy of the live experience, it would be a near perfect live DVD.

Best DVD I Own!!!
Switchfoot is the best band, in my opinion, in the entire world. Tom Keogh, the guy who wrote that editorial review, said that Switchfoot's music all sounds the same, that is sooo wrong! But, I admit this DVD doesn't do them any justice, nothing compares to actually being there LIVE. The sound editing is very poor on this DVD, thats why Switchfoot may sound a little dull, but if you ever get the chance to go to one of their live shows in person, don't hesitate, you won't regret it! I highly recommend Switchfoot's four CD's "The Beautiful Letdown", "Learning to Breathe", "New Way to be Human", and "Legend of Chin". Switchfoot has a very unique sound and all of their songs are amazing, they don't have one bad song. My favorite song on this DVD is "On Fire", its a very beautiful version, a faster tempo than the version on the album. The extras are great too, very entertaining and you get a little "up close and personal" with Switchfoot. Overall, it's a sweet DVD and if you love Switchfoot or are just discovering them I would go out and buy it!!
