Can use camping!
I was looking for something to keep my now MOBILE 1 yr old in her "bed" in our travel trailer. I read the reviews about the single rails falling out, and also the cushions from the dinette wouldn't be heavy enough to hold one down. So, I found the double bed rail, read many positive reviews, and figured it would suit our needs. It didn't take long to assemble, and except for the close quarters, we put it up every evening and took it down every morning with no difficulty. It left about a foot open on either end, which we just stuffed with pillows. It appears to be well made, and on our 10 day camping trip, we never encountered any defects. She even pulled herself up on it and it didn't budge. I'm pretty confident it will work just as well or better when she moves into a "big girl" bed.

I am very impressed with this product! The extra $ over the cost of the single bed rails was well worth the peace of mind!

Finally, a peaceful night!
Since my purchase of this item on July 28, 2003 for my 3 year old little girl, Icelyne, I have been able to sleep worry free.
This double sided bed rail is very secure for those tots that love to tumble around in bed at night!
Since it is attached from one side to another from underneath the mattress, it is kind of like a leave on, but that's ok!
I can still go over the rail (I'm 5'5") and into her bed to read her her bedtime stories!
I LOVE this bedrail and would strongly recommend it to anyone with children who are transforming from crib to bed!
No matter what age!

best rail for a captains bed
This is the only rail system I found that would work with a captain's bed. I like the way it adjusts to fit the mattress snuggly on both sides. Putting it together was difficult the first time, (one of the cloth sides was too small). We returned it and my husband put it together fairly quickly the second time. After about 3-4 months of use, one of the cloth sides (the one my son climbs over) started splitting at the seams. The company responded to my e-mail very quickly and sent a replacement for free no questions asked. We have been using it now for 6 months and it is still sturdy, despite my son using it as a jumgle gym.
