I HAVE seen it!!
Well, what can I say about Sonny Chiba movies, especially the Street Fighter series, Brilliant? Naw. Good Special Effects? What effects? Fun? You bet your sweet @ss! It is a fun movie, a Saturday afternoon at the movies if you will. Don't expect any brilliant acting in these type of movies. However, it is quite enjoyable if you enjoy watching martial arts film. The dubbing on these movies is absolutly horrible, which adds to the charm.

The Street Fighter(1974): Sonny Chiba plays Terry Tsuguri that gets hired by the Yakuza to help them spring a convict from prison. The Yakuza don't keep their promise of payment which enrages Terry and he goes on a warpath.

Return Of The Streetfighter(1975):After single-handedly crippling several cops and wiping out a witness, the mob wants Terry Tsuguri to perform another hit. This time the target is the respected owner of several Asian Martial Arts Centers as well as Terry's long-time friend. When Terry refuses to take the job, the mob goes crazy and sends an army of trained killers with an arsenal of weapons to eliminate The Street Fighter once and for all. Because Terry is now the sworn enemy of both good and evil, no one can live to witness The Return of the Street Fighter (this is written on the box)

Sister Streetfighter(1976):Stars Sue Shiomi as Tina Long and Sonny Chiba as Sonny Hibachi. Sonny is not the star in this one but his appearance is very memorable.

Street Fighter's Last Revenge(1979): Sonny Chiba has to stop gangsters from stealing heroin from a drug company.
Unfortunately this was the last of the Streetfighter movies.

Naturally, these films have not been remastered or anything like that, but again, that adds to the charm. If you dig Sonny Chiba movies and haven't seen too many, I highly recommend "The Bodyguard" (not the Costner movie!!)

i have actually never seen this film
i have never seen this movie but i know about it from watchin true romance and listening to the commentary from quentin tarantino and he says its great but i dont know. he also said it was the first movie ever to get an x rating for violence and thats interesting to me being a fan of violence. i konw it probably wont be that violent by todays standards but it shouldnt be too bad. i was lookin at this movie to find a review or 2 and i saw that it has yet to be reviewed so i wanted to be the first and maybe the only. once i see this movie i will write an actual review of the movie and what i thought of it
