Weaker end to a great series
What bogs this finale off is that it's just too long and it's split over several episodes. You never feel like you're getting anywhere with them and when something interesting happens it ends with a cliffhanger. Plus the use of flashbacks goes waaaay to far with one episode being almost entirely made up of old footage. Come on, man. We're not that dumb, we know how the story went. <

>Storywise, this DVD ends the series with Ryu and Ken taking on Bison on his island fortress while Guile and Nash try to rescue them. Elsewhere Cammy and Balrog clash over the assassination of Inspector Dorai. It's lively enough but can someone tell me how Ken's fatal wounds from the previous episodes miraculously healed in the space of a few hours? And despite the music being of the ususal cool standard there are few scenes, particularly the one where Ken and Ryu are forced to fight each other, where it becomes the most innappropriate supermarker muzak ever. <

Great ending to a fantastic series
As per usual , audio and video quality of the 8 episodes contained on this last volume of Street Fighter II V are excellent.
Concerning the story , I agree with other reviewers that the plot could have been reworked to allow all the characters a chance to develop sufficiently. But there is tons of actions and well-acted drama.
One big problem is the constant re-use of footage from past episodes..but I guess they were on a tight budget.
The music is fantastic ...to the skeptics, that j-pop music that plays during the dramatic scenes do work really well.
Extras are decent , but they could have added more trailers or some conceptual sketches.
And they should have left in the original intro and ending music...slag the techno remix!

Volume 4 of Street fighter II V is awesome...The animation is normal but the people are too tall and too bulky other than the video game and such...The action is very good and keeps you watching the series,at least every 5 minutes there is either action or something going on...The plot is good except the issue with Chunli,the series has much more blood and violence than SF2 the animated movie...I reccomend buying this if you like ninja stuff,action,dragonball z and so fourth.
