Customer Reviews of Stormquest
NO STARS I've awarded this anonymous grade Z movie one star, but that's only because I couldn't give it anything lower. If a film has the label "NO STARS" on it, which thankfully is rare, that means it is so inept and repugnant it lacks any redeeming qualities. Take that warning seriously. This is quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen in my life. Believe me, I mangaed to sit through such bombs as KILLERS FROM SPACE, JACK FROST, BASKET CASE, WARRIORS OF THE APOCALYPSE, MONSTERS FROM GREEN HELL, THE GIANT GILA MONSTER, and even PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE and still survive. This one is is so mesomorisingly awful there's nothing to compare it to. Unfortunatley, it must be seen to be believed. Please don't. It's likely to insult people looking for a bad film.
What disturbs me most about this movie is that it appearently was made, and released. It boggles the mind. By far it has the worst edititng, sound track, dialouge, script, budget, acting, and direction I've ever seen in my life. Seriously, Ed Wood himself could have done a better job directing this movie. At least he would have filled it with his own unique and classic badness.
If you're reading this review, that's a bad sign. Worse still, if you want to know more, I can't help you, but here goes:
The "plot" is about a tribe of amazons or something that drives out a young maiden for the crime of having a male lover. The renegade men start a war against the amazons and their evil storm queen (who turns out to be a man in drag). This battle of the sexes features some of the worst acting, action sequences, editing, and camera work ever to appear in a film. Like I said earlier, the fact that no one else wrote a review here is a good sign. As for the rest of us unfortunate souls who know this movie exists (which is a mercifully small number) I think we should quietly try to locate and burry every copy we can find.
