Customer Reviews of Stephen King's It
"They float. They all float." I saw this movie when I was three years old. It used to give me nightmares. But now I'm passed that. I watch it every now and then for entertainment and to bring back old memories (though they were rather creepy back then) <
> <
>Part 1: When a maniac clown (witch was just one form of IT Tim Curry) kills a little girl in a town called Derry in Maine, the librarian Mike (Tim Reid) remembers what happened thirty years earlier. He had six other friends. He called each of them up and they all had their flashbacks of thirty years earlier. When all of their flashbacks come together, we now see what they did. They fought IT thirty years earlier and were convinced that they killed IT. But they weren't exactly sure. So, they made a promise to each other saying that they would come back to Derry if IT was not dead. <
>And, of coarse, they didn't kill IT. IT WAS BACK! They all agreed to come back to Derry except for one of the members who had a very nice life until he remembered all the horrible things that had happened back then. It just became too much for him that he killed himself. <

>Part 2: This is where all seven of them reunite in Derry. They have flashbacks, of coarse, and some were scary and some were just pleasant memories of their childhood. That's not all of Part 2 but I don't want to spoil the whole thing for you because it's a good movie. <

>Also remember that this DVD has both parts and you have to flip the disk over to see the other part.
Scared the crap out of me!!
Any kid who grew up in the early 90's can tell you why many of us have a clown phobia! This movie scared me so bad when it aired on TV in 1990. I was 7 years old and 15 years later I am still bear the scars of this movie. I absolutely hate clowns.
Why?... I don't get it?
Ok the movie is great... I know this I mean growing up in this era you'd have to be pretty nonexistent if you don't know about "It" anyways... I didn't buy this DVD for a couple reasons... one, the special features... there really aren't any what's with that? this movie I would believe should have tons of extra features... and the second what's with Dolby Digital 2.0... isn't that just stereo... come on we could get that on VHS... give us a reason to buy this and I'll pick it right away... but get on the ball... at least make it worth it.
