Exactly What I Wanted I bought this item for my dad for Christmas. It was exactly what we were looking for and it came right on time.
Safe and wonderful
I've read many reviews and researched before buying this model. If you follow the direction on which foods to can, it is perfectly safe. It was easy to use and quick and easy. I love being able to give away the fruits of my labors to friends and family for them to enjoy. And nothing beats opening up a bottle of fresh ripe peaches in the winter.
Steam Canner/Time and energy saver
We have used 2 of these for 25 years now, and they save an incredible amouunt of energy and time, and used properly with high acid foods only, enable a superb product every time. One can always add 1 teaspoon ascorbic acid to a quart of tomatos, for example, to insure high acidity in view of so many low acid tomatos grown or sold today.
