Customer Reviews of Spur of the Moment Musik
Spur Of the Moment I never even heard of Spontaneous before hearing this album. And once I heard the album, I knew I needed to go get it. This is definetely one of the best underground rap albums and I recommend everyone go out and get this CD. Almost all the songs are good and you can play the CD over and over and never get sick of it. A great debut and I'm still waiting for some new Spontane.
Random Yet Consistent
Spur of the moment is the right title for this album.. I heard about it only because my friend was playing it.. Otherwise I wouldnt have known. And I went right ot hte store to pick it up too.. Between this and Jay Dee-Welcome To Detroit, Ill never have to change CDs. The music is very original and fresh.. Lyrics are outstanding, and the beats are banging like hungry inmates. Some of the skits are kinda useless and dont have anything to do with anything, but those are easy to get over after a while.. This is definately in Heavy rotation in my car.. [....]
Fresh debut from this west coast inde
This is a fresh debut from this underground emcee. Though he hails from the west, his voice and delivery is reminiscent a bit of Outkast. His delivery alone brings a great energy to the mic. Productionwise, the album is solid, even if a bit repetitive at times. My only real complaint with this album is that it has too many useless skits on it (a problem that plagues too many hip hop albums), and a few tracks that would've been better to leave off. With that said, if you are a fan of underground hip hop, or just hip hop in general you'll like this album! Spontaneous has the means to blow up, and guests like Xzibit, Tash, Kurtis Blow, Bahamadia, Rock of Heltah Skeltah, and Saukrates will only help to garner him some much deserved attention.
