Added to the collection in 2004, this multi-purpose 5-1/4-inch Blue Italian gourmet can be used to store powdered sugar, salt, cinnamon, or other food items that require sprinkling. Easily filled via a removable plastic cap, the shaker contains 13 good-sized holes and a comfortable handle. Based upon a late 17th Century drawing, the central design decorating the outside and top of the shaker depicts classic Italian ruins in a pastoral setting. An 18th Century Chinese-inspired floral motif adorns the lower edge and handle.
