Customer Reviews of Space Camp
These Guys Are Frickin' Awesome Wow. Audio Karate is my new favorite band. It's amazing how talented these guys are...and that no one has heard of them. They play fast, catchy punk, and the songs aren't catchy to the point of being annoying, either. I love their songs more each time I hear them, not like some bands where the songs get old fast. They're all different, but they all rock.
Their lead guitarist, Jason Camacho, has some sweet solos throughout the CD. And while the vocals of Art Barrios may seem a little different at first, I love the way he sings. I'm not going to give the songs ratings, because I'd give 'em all 10's. I've read some reviews of this CD that just passes them off as another faceless punk band...but believe me, you'll never mistake one of their songs for someone else's. And the reviewers I speak of come from websites/magazines that nobody's ever heard of, and therefore, don't matter.
My favorites: Rosemead (solo 2:35-2:54), Nintendo 89, and Monster In Disguise. And One Day. And Car Ride Home. And T-San. Just the whole CD, I guess. Almost every song has a cool little solo part. Anyway, don't pass up this one...you'll be missing out on some really great stuff.
good, but .....
this CD is definately a good buy, for those people who like the same old same old, its tracks are technically good and are really enjoyable to listen to but there is very little "flair" in the album, if you are looking for an album that is life changing or ground breaking this is not it, but if like me you are looking for another CD to fill sometime then this is possibly the best buy you'll find.
Good all the way through
This is a great album, its not the "same old" as some are saying. It's pretty polished for a debut too. Just wanted to make sure credit was given where it's due.
