Customer Reviews of Sony MFM-HT75W Widescreen 17" LCD Monitor with TV Tuner (Silver)
Very disappointed as TV monitor- but Amazon rocks! I have owned Sony products for the past thirty years and always been impressed with their performance and consistency. Although always a little higher in price, I felt the quality was well worth it. The Sony MFM-HT75W really disappointed me as a dedicated TV monitor. Judging from the Amazon reviews, I figured it would have a great picture without utilizing the computer aspects of the monitor. Wrong! Picture lacked sharpness and clarity without many options to adjust same. Also, the unit is all one piece so swivel or up/down capabilities are non-existent. I'm using it in my kitchen and adjusting viewing angles is an issue. Ending up returning it to Amazon (who were GREAT about how they handled it; actually refunding the money before they had the Sony in their possession. Kudos!)and bought a 17" Magnavox (?!) with a far superior picture and built-in DVD unit at roughly the same price. <

>Still haven't lost faith in Sony- my track record with them is too good- but it just didn't work out for me this time
Great Product!!
Every time I use this monotor I am AMAZED at the picture quality. It is unbelievable. I recommend it highly.
Only Magnificient!
This monitor was purchased solely for the purpose of a kitchen counter TV. It is not connected to the cable or satellite as other sets are but receives its signal of stations 40 miles away from an off-air antenna in the attic. The picture is absolutely incredible in color and detail. I couldn't be more pleased--it has by far exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone who is super-particular about the pic-ture quality of their TV. With its added monitor capabilities and limitless bells & whistles it's a no-brainer to settle for anything less. LHN (Oakie from Muskogee)
