The BEST enhancer of the wonderful Spanish Language. In my first year of taking Spanish in the 9th grade, we used the Somos Asi 1 Text and Workbook. Well, the textbook was great, but the workbook really helped enforce the basics of the language that only a person can teach to themself. Every time you fill in a blank or you write a quick story, you become more and more familiar with the language. The workbook is not gaudy and gets right to the point of what you have to learn in order to be successfull in Spanish. Each chapter also profiles a country where Spanish is spoken and gives cultural notes on each. The workbook is great to be used with Somos Asi 1 Textbook, but can be used as a great enhancement or review for Spanish 2 students who are having trouble. I am now a very skilled speaker in Spanish, and I owe it to hard work and the help of Somos Asi 1 Workbook. I wish you success with your purchase!!
