Customer Reviews of Snugli Comfort Vent - Carrier
We love it! This was the third carrier that I tried with my daughter. The first was an Infantino, and while my 2 month old liked being in it I found it to be very uncomfortable. I returned and got the Baby Bjorn. It was very comfortable to wear but my baby hated being in it. I returned that as well and I decided to give the Snugli Comfort Vent a try based on the great reviews it has received. I am so glad that I did! My baby loves it and so do I. It is very comfortable to wear and it's easy to get her in and out of. I highly recommend it, for the price you can't go wrong. Save yourself time and money and get this carrier first, I wish I had!
Love This Carrier
I absolutely LOVE this carrier. I originally registered for the Baby Bjorn, but I'm glad I changed my mind...I couldn't stand the thought of having one of my relatives spend that kind of money on a carrier when this one looked just as good. My baby loves the Snugli and it's easy and convenient for me to use. The only trouble we ever had getting her into it was when she was wearing a big puffy snowsuit and even then we managed. And she's a big girl..at almost 3 months, she's already almost 14 lbs. The side tabs are easy to open and I've had no trouble getting her in and out of it by myself while standing. Would recommend this to anyone...especially a parent who's constantly on the go...a great value!
Good for younger babies - doesn't work facing outwards!
This carrier is wonderful when your baby is just a newborn and faces inwards - it is comfortable and supports the baby very well. It is also fairly easy to put on without help from someone else. However, if you wear it for too long or when your baby gets a little bigger, it will hurt your shoulders and back a bit. The trick is not to slouch over because of the weight and also to make sure the straps are tightened around your waist otherwise all of the weight will pull on your shoulders. It is pretty adjustable, though, and both my husband and I can fairly comfortably wear it and our 5-month-old is 20 lbs. However, we can't face him outward because although he's been able to hold his head up for four months, when we face him outwards, the Snugli angles him out so he's hanging forward and he is very uncomfortable. But the Snugli was great for the first 4 months approximately (and probably longer for other babies because our son is very big for his age) and much more convenient than lugging the whole stroller out of the house!
