The greatest season of all.
I would like to say that Smallville Season 5 was the best one. It finally got away from the witches, stones, and Jason/Lana relationship that was very annoying in Season 4. This is where the Superman legacy begins. It all started with the Fortress of Solitude along with the arrival of the villans Zod and whoever she is from the planet Krypton, Lex and Clark became somewhat enemies, and Clark figured out his calling. But sadly, I don't mean to spoil it for the people who haven't watched it, Jonathan Kent dies.
<
>All of the episodes in this season were above all the greatest, including Aqua and Reckoning.
<
>But there were only 3 episodes that sucked which were: Splinter, Tomb, and Mercy.
<
>I think that Smallville would be so great without Lana Lang, I mean come on she brings way too much drama to the show. She is way insecure, needy, pitiful, and two-faced. Clark can do so much better without her. She chose Lex no knowing what she is getting herself into, but oh yeah she's a total ditz. She is the one stopping him from becoming Superman, so Lana has to go.
The Greatest of All Seasons
This season has been my favorite so far. It had a couple of episodes that were not written very well, but those are easily ignored. By introducing Milton Fine (James Marsters) aka Brainac into the series just expanded the Superman Mythology. Lex Luther(Micheal Rosenbaum) became more evil and Lionel Luther(John Glover) became a vessel for Jor-El(voiced by Terrance Stamp, who played General Zod in the Superman movies).Clark Kent( Tom Welling) and Lana Lang (Kristin Kruek)become romantically involved. This season also throws in Aqua Man. This is an incredeble show and this is its' finest season.
