Customer Reviews of Singstar Rocks Bundle (w/ microphone)
singstar bundle The kids just love to sing and have fun with their friends. even the guys have been involved in the fun. I have seen alot of laughs and giggles more than anything else.
Not as good as KR
This game was ok, but not worth the money. The songs are more up-to-date and cool, but the overall fun of the game isnt as good as karaoke revolution. There are no "extras" or really even goals to try to achieve. Also, you have to use the special "singstar" microphones.
Unimpressed
I purchased this game bundle because I enjoyed playing my friend's "Karaoke Revolution" game, and I thought this would be equally enjoyable. First off, the microphones only work with the Singstar games, which is a bit of a rip-off. Second, the game isn't much fun. In challenge mode, you have to sing along with the person you're up against, which isn't as good as singing solo. There are no extras to unlock, either. The playback feature, where you can listen to your version of the recording you just sang, is nice, but overall the game is quite limited in its appeal. It held the attention of my group for less than an hour before growing stale. Purchase one of the "Karaoke Revolution" games instead.
