pretty and simple ...hence, "simplicity" i wanted to get something my lil' one to use up until she's older and this one just seemed perfect, plus, it's very simple and classy! i just wish target offered the matching dresser/changing table so i can take advantage of my gift cards, but you can find them at babydepot.com for those interested. like the review below, mine also came with a few nicks. the side came a bit cracked which made it not attached completely, but not a big deal. we can barely notice it and it doesn't seem to affect the crib overall as far as safety is concern. i wanted to exchange it, but i didn't want to wait another couple of weeks to end up with the same ...or even worse situation. as far is putting it together, it was easy. well, it was actually easy for my husband =)! there is one part in the instruction manual that gives you a picture of a rod that should be facing a certain way. it was really hard to tell and he had to take a guess. he ended up having to readjust it, but not a big deal ...just wasted more time really! otherwise, overall, it's a pretty sturdy and beautiful crib and i'm sure my lil' one will enjoy it to the fullest!!!
NOT AS NICE AS THE PICTURE
The picture makes this crib look very nice and long lasting.Not quite.The crib arrived broken and I had to wait to get another crib.The crib has holes where the screws go in and there is nothing to cover the holes with.It is supposed to be a long lasting crib, but there is no way this crib will make it past the toddler years.The wood is cheaply made and the crib has a cheap look to it. I would not have bought this crib if I would have seen it in person.I would strongly recommend finding another brand to go with.
