FIRST TIME ESL TEACHER I have been teaching ESL for the first time over the past year and have been using the Side by Side text and workbooks. Not having had any prior teaching experience I didn't know what or how I was going to present the material. Side by Side's student book has great illustrations, to the point activities and the perfect amount of repetitiveness for students to grasp new concepts. I'm teacing again this year and I have every intention on using Side by Side books again.
