Customer Reviews of See You in Morning (Spanish)
Drewlimore, this is Garrymore, hello my dahling! Dear Drewlimore Barrylimore, I loved you in this one, you really take the birthday cake. I have met a lot of actresses in my time, but you take the most film. Her subtle wit and casual nuances, provide a flowery performance in this film. Obviously just subtext, for her soft, moody ambiance, in this light, but soft flick. Everybody hold there yellow horses, as Drew Barrymore has finally proven herself an actress, in see you in the morning, her and the film were swell, why waste your time watching other actresses shrink in the darkness, Steven Spielberg must be proud of Tweety in this one, she makes you feel proud to be alive as you set down in your theater seat, or your favorite chair at home, she must of tooken acting lessons for this one, Drew has it all, the hair, the smile, the smell, and yes folks, even the talent, so much for Alyssa Milano being a rival, she couldnt hold a candle to Miss Barrymore, Drew really should be a director someday, she's gone about as far as she can as an actress, Bravo Drewlimore-love garry-your manager-Mirror Vision Inc. One of Jeff Bridges best! Realist portrail of divorce.
Excelent movie, one of the most stiking features was that no one was vilified. Realist depiction of two people who simply drifted apart. This movie may not be action packed, but it's very romantic and enjoyable.

There seem to have been a trend in the late 80's of movies about wealthy white men whose lives were just not quite what they had hoped. The worst of them was Blake Edward's "That's Life", but this one is a close second. Poor Jeff Bridges' marriage to gorgeous Farrah Fawcett breaks up. He then marries the luminous Alice Krige. He still isn't quite happy. Really, there should be a telethon!
It's not that the movie is bad: all of the main actors are great, and the plot isn't that bad. Even the actors who play the kids (Drew Barrymore, Lucas Haas, Mackauley Culkin) manage not to be moppets. But somehow I just couldn't seem to care that much. As another reviewer said, it's a rainy day movie; but it would have to be seriously rainy day.
