BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
Before you pay, take a look at the following letter I sent to Sportmans Guide, one of Amazon's vendors. <

>After hours on the phone with Amazon and Sportsman Guide I have finally decided to cancel my order. There has been a total lack of information and communication between the two vendors which has resulted in extreme frustration and inconvenience for me, the customer. <
>I placed my order on 4/12/06 and received confirmation from Amazon. I also received an arrival range of April 23, 2006 - May 1, 2006. The credit card was charged and Sportsmans Guide had their money. After not having received the goods by May 2, 2006 I called Amazon and e-mailed them only to be told that the problem was with Sportmans Guide, not Amazon. Amazon instead of responding to my email directly sent Sportsmans Guide a copy of my email in order for Sportsmans Guide to respond. I question the logic behind that strategy. Numerous calls followed between me and Amazon and Sportsmans Guide. My communication with Sportsmans Guide was not recordered so each time I called I needed to re-explain the entire situation. May 2, 2006, Sportsman Guide spent close to 50 minutes trying to locate my order. Once found, I was told to call on May 3, 2006 to resolve the issue myself. May 3, 2006 I was told by Sportsmans Guide that the order was not even scheduled to ship before July, 2006. This was the first time I had been told this information. Apparently the furniture is on back order. I needed the furniture by the weekend of 5/6/06. One representative that I spoke to from Sportsmans Guide told me that the estimated dates I see on my order confirmation are "generic" and it's a problem that needs to be fixed". I truly question how you can be in business with this kind of service and honestly doubt your longevity unless some major changes take place. <
>The lack of coordination and communication between Amazon and Sportmans Guide is abominable to say the least. The fact that the customer had to resolve an issue that was clearly that of the two vendors is quite despicable. I spare not reservation in expressing the above on the online survey since I do not believe any customer buying goods for $1.00 or close to $1,000.00 should have to tolerate this unprofessional, pathetic service. <
