Love the mailbox, concerned about long term reliability
I ordered my first Secure Logic mailbox and was amazed at the quality construction. Unfortunately after installing the batteries and attempting to program the combination I found that the 2, 6, and 9 keys on the keypad wouldn't work. I contacted the manufacturer and was immediately connected to a very polite person who told me my options were to return the mailbox to ETL or to the place of purchase. I chose to return it to the place of purchase, and re-ordered a replacement. <

>The replacement arrived today and it has the exact same failure. The 2, 6, and 9 keys do not function. I tried a different brand of brand new batteries and experienced the same problem. Again the person answering the phone at the company was very polite, but there are currently no repair options short of returning the entire mailbox to the company which raised some long term reliability concerns for me given my experience with two different orders. <

>Although I absolutely love this mailbox I am saddened that the reliability issues are forcing me to look at other less desirable, but more reliable options. If my 'out of the box' experience had been better I would have rated this product with 5 stars.
