The real story ok Im not a kid Im 15 but its easier to do it this way, im a Sophmore in Highschool and i take German ilove german everything about it and to correct the guy who gave Schnappi a bad reviewok heres the real deal Joy is yes an 8yr old German girl but she is only sing the songs because her aunt wrote them, and if u can she what the Hype is then let me put it in simple words there suppost to be for kids there kids song dont try to make some big contraversy cause u cant write German songs alles ist gut zu Kindert if u can accept that then dont but kids eat this stuff up. Schnappi is perfect for kids and even some teens like me
Now the irittating Schnappi Album...Ohh No!
I cant get what the hype of this horrid music collection of Schnappi Songs sung by that German Child Joy. Just as the so nerving Schnappi "Das Kleine Krokodil" Single not enough. This is what the so commercialized, and apparent "burned out" though ever greedy Music Industry releases to the public, when they cant find new good creative artists/bands (though they exist) and signeed up this so pathetic child Joy to do even an album of some of the most irritating tracks to date, next to Crazy Frog! - So dont buy this horrid CD and look for real music for a change, it exists, though harder to find, thanks to the so greedy Music-Industry marketing such horrid productions, such as this, so they come to the top of the charts! - Very Sad!
My Review
This CD is great! It is so very different from the CD's that are relased everyday and in the day and age of over production is sorely welcomed! Joy's voice is great (it's her natural voice with no apparent production changes!) and the variety of track styles is good, ranging from super fast to very slow. This is a CD that sounds so different in today's world. My only gripe is there is to few tracks (I would liked more to listen to) and it would of been nice to have the "Ein Lama In Yokohama" video on it as well!
