Customer Reviews of Savannah Smiles
Sweet movie This is a very sweet movie, if a bit naive. (Kids, don't try this--if you do end up in the backseat of a couple of criminals' car, doubt you'll have as good a time as little Savanna.) However, on a fantasy level, this is a wonderful little story. My mother took me to see it when I was 5 years old, and seeing it with my grandpa recently (he'd never seen it before, and loved it, too), I realized how much I'd missed it. The late Bridgette Andersen was one of those rare child actors who could be totally adorable without being fake or obnoxious about it, and the two criminals are both engagingly played. The poignant flashback scenes of Alfie being abandoned by his family help give the movie a tearjerking twist.

I loved this movies when I was a little girl. When I grew up I would see it on tv, and just cry my eyes out! I have been trying to locate this movie for many years, and have not been successful. If anyone out there would like to get rid of it please contact me at anitajuhl@hotmail.com. I would recommend this movie to anyone. Although, I'm sure that only women and kids would like this movie. I don't think that many men would like it. Watch it as a good family night movie. Knowing some of the movies out there for children, this would be a movie many moms and dads would let their children watch again agani. I hope you like it as much as I did.
Wonderful!
This movie is a must see for everyone. It is an incredibly touching story. I saw this movie when I was 10 years old (I am now 30)and it has remained a favorite.
