How to fix paper feeder issue Mine worked fine for 2 years as well, but gradually stopped feeding paper. The issue is that the rubber pickup roller worn out. <

Paper feeder problem
I bought this printer about 2 1/2 years ago, and it worked very well...until now. Now the paper feeder will not feed paper at all, making it impossible to print. Also, Amazon's description of 12,000 pages in toner saver mode is A TOTAL LIE, unless you only print 2 words per page. I get more like 2,000 pages in toner save mode until the text becomes too light to read.
Great medium-workload printer
I have had this printer for over 3 years now and have had absolutely no problems with it so far. I have been through 4 cartridges which puts my odometer at around 15,000 to 16,000 pages printed. I am a student and I print a lot of research papers, homeworks, notes, etc.
