>The SuperS series of Sailor Moon is actually supposed to be more than 39 episodes. The stupid american people cut out what i think people all the around the world would have wanted to see. First cut episode is supposed to be where Usagi and Chibi-Usa basically just talk about everything thats happened during the previous seasons. The second cut episode is supposed to show Haruka and Michiru at some kind of ocean view hotel and apparently one of the Dead Moon Remlis's has been performing puppet shows and stealing energy from humans at the same time. Michiru finds out about the Remlis and she and Haruka transform into Neptune and Uranus and destroy the Remlis. After there about to leave the hotel, they both have faith that Usagi and the Inner Senshi will protect the world. UPON DECIDING ON THAT, THATS WHY HARUKA AND MICHIRU DONT COME BACK TO HELP FIGHT AGANIST THE DEAD MOON. The third cut episode is supposed revolve around Chibi-Usa making friends with a new girl at school named Ririn. Little does she know that Ririn is actually a vampire creature. When she finds out, she and sailor soldiers go to Ririn's castle and fight her. I'm not sure whether Ririn is one of the Dead Moon's remlis, but Tigers-Eye, Hawks-Eye, and Fish-Eye do appear in this episode. <

>So i dont know why the american people decided not to show these three episodes, but considering that alot of people think Haruka and Michiru are there favorite characters, i would've thought they would've released it but i guess not. And it also explains why Haruka and Michiru dont come back in this season. Oh well, thats why when Anime is brought here, it should brought here completely with everything.
One of the best of the 5 part Series
The first Sailor Moon DVD I bought was from the SuperS Season (although I had been a Sailor Moon fan long before that lol). I instantly fell in love with the series. Although it is not as great as my favourite season (Sailor Stars), it's definitely fun to watch. I did not buy this Boxset, but bought the 7 DVDs individually. The original Pioneer Released DVDs have really nice Reversable Covers, a mini-poster, and the terrible "Geneon Signature Series" banner is not present. 5 out of 7 of my DVDs for this season are indeed Pioneer Versions. The 2 I bought as Geneon Signature Editions are quite disappointing. The quality on those discs seem a bit less than the others (often, a red shade is visible on black backgrounds during the show). However, I believe the quality on this boxset is as good as the original Pioneer editions.

>Although the Outer Solar System Soldiers are not present in this season, SuperS is still a great season. The animation is by far the best of the series in my opinion (next to Sailor Stars) and you can definitely see that in the vivid new attacks of the Sailor Senshi. This boxset is definitely worth the buy :D
No Outer Senshi!
I would give this five stars, but this series was rather predictable much too lighthearted, especially when compared to the previous series.
<
>But, what do you expect when the enemies are circus freaks? Also, none of the outer senshi appeared at all, like they did in the magna. That was really disappointing because Haruka and Michiru are my favorite characters. In almost every episode, the Dead Moon attacks someone who might be hiding a winged horse named Pegasus in their "beautiful dream." Conveniently the Sailor Senshi had made friends with the person who gets attacked recently and come to save the day. This series mostly focuses on Chibiusa or Sailor Chibi-Moon, so you might get really annoyed as the series goes on if you don't really like her. Over the series Chibiusa falls in love with Pegasus (Helios) and grows as a person. I've mostly just watched the Japanese audio version so far, because if the English voice actors are the same ones as were in the other seasons, I'll get a headache. Also, the English version tends to be horribly translated, and often has bad slang added to it.
<
> Some of the good points of the series are the fact the animation has significantly improved and that all the senshi have new "super" transformations and new attacks. I also liked the Amazon Trio, because they were rather strange and entertaining characters. (By the way, Fish-Eye is a man in the original Japanese version, for people who have only seen the dub.)

>The ending of the series with Queen Nehelenia, the ruler of the Dead Moon circus, is really great too. This season has a much darker atmosphere once she comes along. Nehelenia is really creepy too. The voice actress who plays her in the Japanese version does a really good job, but the Engligh voice actress sounds too perky.
<
>By the way, if you purchase Sailor Moon Sailor Stars, (which you can get at anime-home.com or hkdvdstore.com) Nehelenia comes back for about the first six episodes.
