Returning to a classic
Last year I purchased a very expensive set of professional cookware. I found that it performed no better than the Revere Copper Clad sauce pan I have from my first apartment over twenty-five years ago. The biggest problem with the professional cookware was its incredible weight! I have arthritis, and on some days I simply cannot use anything but the lighter-weight Revere ware. I finally decided to replace my difficult cookware with this easy to use classic set, and I am very glad I did.

Tried and TRUE
People have put down Revereware in recent decades with the advent of heavy anodized "professional" pans. Except for deep-frying and candy-making, where a weighty pot is advised to avoid dangerous tipping, I've found Revere's copper-bottomed stainless line the best. It's durable, conducts heat evenly and well, does not discolor or taint acidic foods, is easy to clean, lightweight (a boon for arthritic and disabled cooks), and contains no metals suspect for toxicity. There's a wide range of matching accessories including a stainless steel coffee pot. My mother had it, I bought my first set with my first apartment, and both sets are still in use after many years. In fact, I'm replacing saucepans I accidently scorched leaving them unattended at high heat! (If you think that's a negative, aluminum pans MELT.)

Lifetime
This set will easily last you 50+ years. I have encountered many people with the same set with no complaints. Misuse would be the only reason for any problems with these pans.
