The stylish system packs a five-CD changer ready to handle MP3 files burned on CD-R or CD-RW discs, a dual-well cassette deck, and a digital tuner with 30 station (15 FM, 15 AM) presets into a single box, all driven by 145 biamplified watts per channel (left/right) and complemented by a 160-watt stand-alone subwoofer.

The system's dot-matrix fluorescent display shows full artist and track info from your MP3 files' ID3 tags, and you can even search for a song by its title, entering up to nine characters with the supplied remote control. This system can play MP3 discs bearing up to 999 tracks, 255 albums, and 20 different sessions.

The three-way stereo speakers, meanwhile, use ported (bass-reflex) cabinets to enhance their bass response. Each 6.5-inch woofer is powered by 75 watts per channel and the high-frequency drivers (a 2.38-inch tweeter and piezo-type super-tweeter) are driven by 70 watts per channel.
