Too upright for rear facing We just got this seat yesterday in hopes that it would give our little guy more support and room to grow from his Graco - stroller/carseat infant carrier. I compared it to the BRITAX top models and read a review from someone else that preferred it over the BRITAX. I had hands on experience with the BRITAX but never saw one of these except for on-line. I figured if RECARO makes race car seats, the baby seats should be top notch. The seat was quite plush, well built, and had great support. However, until our little guy reaches one year and goes forward facing, the seat is extremely too upright. It has a one position recline that rolls out a small piece of plastic on the bottom that offers little to no adjustment. If your child is 1 year or more and you don't plan to have any more kids, it is a good seat. If you want a more versatile seat that will help your < 1 year old I would go with the BRITAX. The BRITAX is worth the money and your little one will be happy.
