Customer Reviews of Rags to Riches
Didn't know it WAS a movie! My sister and I were obsessed with this show as kids. In fact, it's the sole reason that I started playing the saxophone in middle school (Mickey, the youngest of the bunch, plays the sax). What's strange is that I never realized that Bill Maher or Tisha Campbell were in it. <

>I loved the songs - campy, yes, but fun for Annie-type fans. They took Golden Oldies and changed the lyrics to fit the situation. In fact, I can't hear "All I Have To Do Is Dream" without missinging the lyrics as "I couldn't treat Diane that waaaaaay!". <

>Awesome. I can't believe I got my hands on this. The things you thing are lost, you know? Bless the internet, and Al Gore for inventing it.
Rags to Riches DVDs
I loved this show as a child and am still disappointed that they never brought it out on DVD. Luckily though, I still have my VHS copies and I edited out the commercials, added menus, and made my own DVDs! If anyone wants a set, email me!
Rags to Riches
I can't say enough about Rags to Riches.I saw the movie when it first aired on NBC in 1987 when I was 13 years old.My sister and I were totally enthralled and obsessed with it.The series was great and we watched it every week.I would have to say my favorite episodes were the ones about Diane and her boyfriend Duke and the one with Marva and the food truck business she had.I particularley love the quarrel scene between Nick Foley and Al Shweickert. That scene used to make me double over with laughter. This was an absolute delightful family movie to see and I highly reccomend it.
