Customer Reviews of Radiohead - 7 Television Commercials
7 Television Commercials (literally) This is a great video, including *gasp* 7 music videos. I am a big Radiohead and these were the first times I heard some songs and saw the band members. It was really great for me. Also, I love watching it now.
The videos are 1) Paranoid Android - animated, and quite cool - you see animated band members. Hee hee. 2) Street Spirit (Fade Out) - I first heard the song because of this video - I fell in love with it - now SS(FO) is my favorite song in the world and the video is indescribable. 3) High and Dry - Good video - nice scene of Thom - cool ending. 4) Just - Quite controversial, but definately a great video. 5) No Surprises - At first I didn't like the song, but the video is cool - a bit boring, but unusual - Thom said it was the scariest thing he did in his life. 6) Karma Police - Cool video - it suits the song. 7) Fake Plastic Trees - Interesting video - I don't really like the song and therefore the video isn't that great for me, but I hear that other people really like it - Thom in a shopping cart.
I don't know if those are in the right order, but I think they are. If you are a RH fan, definately worth getting.

from paranoid android to green plastic trees, the videos on this tape truely capture the feelings and emotions of Radiohead's music. Paraniod Android video: a cartoon man who has to deal with the insanity and oddness of the world around him. Street Spirit: desolate trailor park, thom swinging a stict at himself, Johnny jumping up and down, cool slow motion effects. No Surprises: nothing flashy in this video, which suites the song excellently. JUST! :my favorite, the man lying on the ground, subtitles, apocolyptic endings....well i get carried away, but what is he saying? what is he saying? high and dry: very pulp fictonesque more sad people and their various sad situations, the husband and wife lip sync is awesome. Karma Police; great song, fat man running from KILLER CAR thom mouths five words green plastic trees: i work in a drug store so this is also one of my favorites. Thom's looks at home in the shopping cart. lots of glass and chrome and stuff. VERY AWESOME VIDEO WORTH EVERY PENNY TO THE RADIOHEAD FAN.
Let Down
Any serious or even semi-serious Radiohead listener knows that depression is a deep, complex, and many splendered thing. There is the relationship falling to parts around your feet depression of "Morning Bell", the suicidal depression of "Let down", there is the classic failure to fit in or live up to your own unattainable vision of personal perfection of "Creep" or the who the heck knows what is wrong with Thom this time but it is pretty black and incoherent depression of "Pyramid song".
None of these beautiful depressions are available in these videos. If you are so foolish as to purchase these videos the depression you will likely experience will be nothing more impressive than the I just wasted money that I could have spent on some nice Bjork videos instead depression. Very similar to the feeling you might experience if you were to dispose of your money in some other artless way like dropping it into the office shredder.
The only possible excuse for buying these videos is that you've already watched Meeting People is easy four hundred and fifty times and you simply must own everything that Radiohead has ever produced. Even so, I assert that a muddy brick on which you've written "I want to give birth to Thom's children" would look much better in your Radiohead shrine than this tripe.
I'm serious: these videos push the envelope of modern boredom. Avoid them.
