As a 10 year user of QuickBooks software the Premier Pro (Professional Serices edition) 2006 version is excellent. One of the new features is the ability to have different billing rates for different customers. <

Good product
Quickbooks Premiere for Professional Services is definitely the best software in its class for consultants and contractors. It really streamlines the billing process and provides you with detailed info on the status of your business. However, there are soe features I found to be unduly complex (like the template designer). Overall a good buy though.

QuickBooks 2006 is greatly improved
The latest version of QuickBooks is much easier to use. It is easy for non-accountants to do the bookkeeping now. There is a great new home page that makes it easy to navigate to the tasks you want to do. The new user set up process is a quick, easy interview. For small business owners, this is a "must try" product.
