Customer Reviews of Quattro Tour Travel System with LATCH - Blueberry
Don't listen to some of these stupid people I happen to love this travel system. It is big, but so are all the other's if you actually take the time to research them. None fold up as easily that is for sure. Unless you go with a Graco Metro Lite, which are wonderful, they all weigh close to 20-25 lbs.. It does take up space, but so do all the other's. And as for the car seat. The AVERAGE age is anywhere from 4-9 months that they will grow out of the car seat. NO MATTER WHICH BRAND YOU BUY! Baby Trend gives you a 2 pound and 2 inch advantage. That is what a whole month! And then you still spend that extra money on a convertable seat. So, why are you mad at the stroller because your kid out grew the carseat?? You have got to be kidding me. Everything on this stroller is convienent. The storage, the drop basket, FULLY reclines,cup holders, and little compartments for mom's storage. If you can't see over the canopy, it does swing all the way over to the other side. One of it's features. You want bigger wheels. The bigger the better it maneuvers and longer the wheels will last. As for the car seat not sittting securely in the stroller is ridiculous. If you look it has locks to lock it down! DUH! I have to laugh at most of these reviews how parents do not do any research on these things. Like the base wasn't level in the car. Ummm...the base can be reclined up and down and they do make levelers if your seats are very bucketed. And all Graco carseats are the same. So one can not weigh more or less than the next. The pattern and fabrics are the only differences. So my advice to all you researching this Quattro tour go in the store and try out all different makes and models and you will see they are all BULKY and HEAVY, unless you go with a light weight stroller. And if you are in a situation, like lots of stairs, small trunk, THEN BUY A LIGHT WEIGHT stroller.
#1 Car Seat and Stroller!
I'm a first time mother, my daughter is 4 months. I received this travel system off my baby register for my shower. We tried out many strollers. We loved this one best of all because of #1 height, my husband is 6'5 and didn't want to have to bend down to push the stroller. 2nd it handles corners and turns very easy. 3rd, we love the fact that it closes with a twist of the handle and pulls back up in seconds. Both car seat and stroller and been greatly used. I would recomend this travel system to anyone. Holds my daughter in safetly and securely...
A++++++++++
Heavy/ Bulky , otherwise sturdy / not a bad Choice
We researched market for around 6 months before buying Quattro. Its no doubt the most sturdy looking, maneuverable TS but the problem lies in space it takes and the weight. I own Nissan Maxima but once in trunk nothing else fits, to place the stroller in the trunk is also a big time pain. My husband is 6' and I am 5.3 we both had tough time lifting it or carrying it. Our back used to ache in spite of being fit otherwise. Here are pros/cons decide for yourselves.
Pros :
1.Maneuverable
2.Space for keeping goggles, Soda can etc for parents.
3.Leg supports for baby are padded on the inner sides. These Pads can be lifted to give an extra inch or two if baby wishes to sleep comfortable.
4.Sun shade can move back and forth to avoid sun light (Coolest feature)
Cons :
1.Bulky and Heavy. Beware of Pulled / Catch of muscles.
2.Takes lot of storage space / trunk space.
3.Cheap quality wheels within few days roughness of wheels are visible.
4.One hand folding, but stroller's lies on the floor, have to bend to pick it up.
After going through lot of reviews and first hand reviews we finally went for Metrolite. The problems people mention in ML are to great extend eliminated by Graco in newer models like accessibility of diapers bags etc. Check it out before buying Quattro.
Thanks
