The internal 4x4x24x4 EIDE DVD/CD-RW combination drive lets you read and write CDs plus watch your favorite movies right on your desktop PC. Featuring 4x write, 4x rewrite, and 24x read speeds for CDs, this drive offers a generous 2 MB buffer and fast 130-millisecond access times for storing 74 minutes of music or 650 MB of data on CD-R/CD-RW media. You can also use the same drive to watch feature DVD films at a 4x playback speed.

The drive comes bundled with Adaptec's Easy CD Creator premastering software, Direct CD packet-writing software, CyberLink's PowerDVD MPEG-2 decoding software for PCs (for playback of DVD movies), cables, and blank CD-R and CD-RW media.
