Using Baby Trends Flex-Loc system, the carrier securely locks into the LATCH-compliant car seat base for car rides or the front tray on the stroller for walks. A large canopy on the stroller slides to meet the carriers canopy and thoroughly block out sun and wind during inclement weather or naps on the go. Stroller features include a large below-seat storage basket that lowers for easier retrieval of gear and a one-handed folding system that closes the stroller compactly. A snack tray on the front is provided for older babies and lifts up or removes to get into the seat. Parents also get a cup holder and storage compartment on the strollers handle. A reclining padded seat; wrap-around footrest; and 8-inch wheels make the ride all the more comfy. This travel system is certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association, an independent lab that tests for safety in childrens products. --Cristina Vaamonde

Customer Reviews of Profile Traveler Travel System - Palm Tree
Heavy car seat The travel system itself has been handy and I love the large canapy it provides great shade. I just washed the carseat teh other day and took it apart and put it together very easily. However the carseat seat itself is quit heavy. <
>I didn't notice it at first but know my son is 3 months old and 16 pounds and I can not carry him in the car seat. <
>The handles for the seat are also hard to fold back. <
>When folding up the stroller you do have to reach to the front of the stroller to catch it before it hits the ground and scratches the front. <
>The stroller is easy to push and I could unfold with one hand. But I wish I would have test out all the parts before we purchased it.
Elizabeth's Revies (7 1/2 Months)
Here are the pros:
<
>1. The shade is awesome. Mommy can flip it all the way back so when the sun is shining in the back window I don't get blinded!
<
>2. The base holds my carseat really well so I'm not moving all over the place. Mommy and Daddy tried another infant carseat for me and I felt like I was in a roller coaster.
<
>3. The stroller is really comfy and when I fall asleep Mommy can recline it without waking me.
<
>4. I love the colors - they are great for a girl or a boy (like my little brother I hope to have someday).

<
>Now the cons:
<
>1. The carseat is soooo heavy for Mommy, and even Daddy. Even with the triangle handle they can hardly carry me, and I'm not even a big baby!
<
>2. Since there are only two slots for the straps to go, I feel like I'm being squished - I need the seatbelts higher!!
<
>3. When Mommy or Daddy tries to fold the stroller, they have to grab it before it hits the ground or it gets all scratched up. It already has a little bit, and Mommy's not too happy. You'd think the people who designed it would have made it easier to fold and store!!

<
>Overall, I couldn't care less, but Mommy and Daddy say they wish they would have bought a lighter-weight system!
Storing is a hassle
First the good:
<
>I love the colors, we can use the design for our son (now two weeks) and hopefully one day our daughter.
<
>I love how big the wheels are- it can go anywhere and over most things like curbs.
<
>Everything is just a click away. To open, shut, and slid in the car seat just listen for the easy click to know it is in place.
<
>
<
>The bad:
<
>When you close the stroller it just slams into the ground, which means you have to grab it as your are closing it to keep it from damaging itself from hitting the concrete.
<
>It takes tons of space when storing it in our truck (and our truck is a big 2005 four door F150) those with smaller vehicles don't bother with this stoller.
<
>And the worst for us is that the car seat is not reclined enough for newborns. Our son looks like a folded up chair when he is placed in it.
