Customer Reviews of Pro Rally 2002
good if you like a challenge I cant beleive this game got bad reviews, if you want a racing game where the cars actually take skill to drive this is definitley it. Lots of courses and cars, loads of fun.
Possibly The Worst Game Made For The Cube
The title says it all. Even though this one has pretty graphics, game play is boring and repetitive, the cars are difficult to control and lose control or veer off course too easily. I would not even waste my time renting this one.
Will there ever be a decent racing game?
I gave it 3 stars only because V-Rally and NFS are even worse games. Another entry in the seemingly endless flow of racing game shovelware (the likes of V-Rally or NFS: HP). The graphics have somewhat intriguing quality to it - it is not as blatant cutout city as V-Rally's, and not kiddie-game graphics like that of NFS. Gameplay is also somewhat superior to V-Rally's - there are a few modes, including where you can race against other cars. Control - again, much better than NFS, better than V-Rally - but still horrible, it feels like you're playing Splashdown or some skiing game. Im starting to doubt there ever will be a decent racing game - GT3 was a step in the right direction, where cars controlled great, however, you had to spin around a handful of uninspired tracks ridiculous number of times, which essentially killed all the fun.
