>This is probably the smartest and most innovative film I've seen since Memento. While it is extremely difficult to grasp the content of the story and figure out just what the hell is going on, it still proves itself as a great movie. Luckily I have always had an interest in time travel theories and so I somewhat understood some of the things they were talking about and the parts that did confuse me were not enough to take me away from realizing what the two main characters stumbled upon. <

>This is a very slow-paced film and you will find yourself stretching your mind to understand exactly what is going on, but as you watch this film unfold, I assure you that you will realize the genius of it. This film asks the question: "What would you do if you could change the future by traveling back in time?" And as a viewer, you will find yourself being tempted of the notion of it all. You could easily make millions, gain power, and everything else that is part of the worst of human desires. <

>This movie does more than answers that question. It shows you the consequences. And it offers a strong morality lesson on human nature. Don't miss this one - even if you expect to be completely confused (although I do not recommend this film for audiences who only enjoy mainstream films - thus its Genre Grade of C+).
Good concept, but confusing and poorly acted.
Not a bad indy release. They could have explained things better.
Worth a Look--Especially the Commentary
Okay, if this were a Hollywood flick, I wouldn't be giving it 5 stars. Although it is an intriguing time-travel movie, it isn't an overtly dramatic film, and it's dialogue heavy in a way that doesn't really reveal (or differentiate) character or create plot momentum; there is a LOT of technical talk, and often talk substitutes for dramatic action.

>Still, what this filmmaker managed to do on a miniscule budget is amazing. It IS a good story, and original story. And the commentary was for me as interesting as the movie itself. Carruth not only wrote, produced, directed, and acted in the film, he did the over-dubbing and special effects--effects done with a camcorder and his home pc. Weebles figure significantly in the movie--these he picked up on E-bay. Photographs used in the movie were Photoshopped and sent to an online developer for printing.

>I think any aspiring filmmaker would love this movie if for no other reason than to watch the commentary, and learn how Carruth problem-solved without a vast budget and a huge staff of underlings.
