Great highchair! Safe and easy to clean
I have the tan leatherette version of this chair, and we have been very pleased with it so far (our son is 8 months old). <

ALWAYS WATCH YOUR CHILD CLOSELY WHILE THEY ARE EATING and if there is a problem... keep your cool! My son was a bit freaked by the episode, but when he saw that I remained calmed and was cooing to him that "you're ok, you're ok" he immediately calmed down. Anyway, I don't think blaming the highchair for having a safety feature like a five point harness is really fair.) <

Looks great with nice features
I just received my Prima Papa Leatherette High Chair for my 7 month old baby...and it looks fantastic and matches my home decor perfectly! I am thankful that there is such a product for infants/toddlers that doesn't scream with bright colors and/or so light and neutral that it can stain easily. <

Really like this Chair
I've been really happy with this high chair (although I have with the plaid vinyl seat, not the leatherette so I can't comment on that). When I was shopping for high chairs, I actually used the chair in the store and was happiest with this one. I had a hard time with the price, but I just felt that it is more stable and has more useful functions (although I think the rocking part is pretty cheesey -- I never use it) than any of the other chairs I found. The people who have complained about it being hard to clean must have not ever tried to clean other high chairs, because I would say this is among the easiest. The seat cover snaps off (takes maybe a minute to get it off) and lays completely flat so you can just wipe it down (although the leatherette may be more touchy than the vinyl, I really can't comment). The shoulder and crotch straps have an easy release function and are dishwasher safe, so I just throw those in the dishwasher at night. The tray cover is also dishwasher safe, although it doesn't fit in my particular dishwasher. I love that it completely covers the tray, unlike some other snap-ons, so there is no food getting stuck in the cracks. I use the recline feature regularly, and did so especially before my son could sit on his own but was eating solids (between 4-6 months). He's actually fallen asleep in it several times, so the recline has come in handy in that way too. I like that it has so many height adjustments. I can put it at the height that is right for me, and my husband can adjust it for when he feeds him (although if you are moving it down, it's a little difficult to do with the baby in the chair as it tends to slide all the way to the lowest setting). We can also adjust it to the height of our dining table so we can have him sit with us without the tray on at meals and feel like he's a part of the family. Also, I think it is just a much more attractive high chair than most others out there. I would highly recommend this high chair. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is the price tag.
