This versatile 12-by-12-inch electric skillet cooks enough to feed a family of four for every meal without requiring you to turn the stove on once. This skillet can fry up bacon and eggs or bake French toast for breakfast, grill a sandwich or hamburger for lunch, and, for dinner, brown stew meat, braise smothered pork cutlets, or cook a stovetop chicken-noodle casserole. The heat control ranges from 200 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (in 50-degree increments) and automatically maintains the proper heat setting so foods cook at the same rate as they would on the stove but in a more energy-efficient manner than a range or oven. The heat control also has a warm setting to keep food at serving temperature for latecomers to the table or buffet-style entertaining. Made of recycled heavy cast aluminum, the skillet has a nonstick interior and exterior surface so meals won’t stick and clean-up is easy. The durable plastic "EverNu" cover resists warping, denting, or peeling and is high enough to accommodate small- to medium-sized roasts.
