Customer Reviews of Premonition (Widescreen Edition)
enjoyable but that is it Housewife Linda Hanson (Sandra Bullock) is married to Jim (Julian McMahon), has 2 daughters (Shyann McClure and Courtney Taylor Burness), and her best friend Annie (Nia Long). Linda, one day, wakes up and gets the news that Jim is dead. She wakes up the next morning to find him alive. <
>She decides to investigate what is happening, to try and prevent her husband's death. <

>Not exactly fast-paced, and certainly not the greatest thriller/suspense movie, this isn't Bullock's best either! It is however refreshing to see McMahon in a movie rather than his usual Nip/Tuck series. The kids are not well cast - neither of them look like Sandra or Julian. <

>The ending IS a disappointment. Since this is a thriller/suspense, you would think the scriptwriter would have come up with some not-obvious ending. However, he did. So halfway through the movie, what you expect to happen does happen, and that is utterly annoying. <
>And that very last scene? How stupid could that be. Useless. One of the worst useless scenes I've seen - sooo American. <

>Nothing original, or new in this movie. <

>Still entertaining, despite its plot holes. But I wouldn't watch it again.
Jim Dies Wednesday!

>When I first heard that my family had rented Premonition, I was a little wary. I'd heard many bad reviews on this movie and went into it with a good deal of apathy. Shortly after the start, I found myself being drawn in and trying to figure out what was going to happen next. I love a movie that makes me think and this was one of those. Premonition is not a movie to watch while baking in the kitchen or vacuuming the hall. You have to actually sit down and get involved in the movie to completely understand and appreciate it.

>As far movies go, it could have been better. It won't be a classic thriller/"thinker" movie but it is worth the time to sit and watch. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys going through a movie with a contemplative mind and an desire to be slightly "weirded out". Definately a thumbs up in my book.
You need to have a premonition to really understand
I think some people who rated this movie wanted something scarey. This may not seem scarey to them but it can be to people who experience these. It is very real. I LOVED Sandy in this movie as I do most of her movies. It was also well directed and you could really feel the emotions of all the actors. For those who will rate this low. This is not for kiddies, ya'll.
