Evenflo Travel System
We bought the the evenflo travel system because I LOVED the stroller. The stroller has lots of great features, a huge basket underneath, and it steers REALLY easily. It folds up with only one hand and it pops up really easily too. Another nice feature is that you can pull a little cord to set the recline exactly how you want it. There aren't just 3 or 5 recline positions, you can set it however you like. <

>The carseat is why this system only gets 4 stars and not 5. The carseat is nice and plush and looks really great, but we had a hard time with our newborn in it. The seat sits up MUCH straighter than the Graco Snugride. At 7 weeks old, we ended up getting the Graco snugride for our son and he did much better in it. We have now switched back to the evenflo because we don't use a headrest anymore (he is 4 months old) and the evenflo has a lot of padding built into the head area. He also enjoys sitting up better now. I have also noticed that our carseat gets stuck on its base quite a bit. This is okay for us because we don't usually take the carseat out of the car. But do beware that it can get stuck!! <

Average
My biggest complaint about this system was that the cuchion would slide down in the stroller. This was extemely frustrating. On the other hand the storage area was huge and great to take shopping.

A disconcerting product!
Let see. The infant carrier ripped, even with an underweight baby. The canopy collapsed in on the baby and then never worked again. And to get the carrier out of the base you had to jostle the baby to the point of waking her; defeating any convenience implied prior to purchase. I have since read about and heard from other parents that the base is a real issue. The stroller is even worse. My problems are so bad that Evenflo suggested I throw it away. The plastic canopy support popped out scratching my daughter's face, just shy of her eye. The seat belt doesn't extend because the safety caution label is sewn to the straps so they don't slide under the plastic clasps. The velcro that connects the fabric seat cover/cushion to the stroller support fabric ceased sticking which causes the fabric to ball up behind the baby's back. And to make it worse the seat neither reclines or sits up fully. The child snack tray gets scratch to no end because the stroller is designed to fold snack tray to the ground. The brakes are so hard to release that we stopped using them soon after buying the stroller. Safe right? But the major issue with the stroller is that the front wheels have simultaneously fallen off, causing my daughter to nearly fall face first out of the stroller. I have talked to a few moms at daycare who have Evenflo strollers and all agreed that they have had at least one or more of these problems. I strongly recommend reading the other Evenflo stroller reviews. I was enchanted by a nice pattern and a huge storage basket. But now I am paying the price. Evenflo is sending me a new base and cover for my carrier, but they are only issuing me partial refund for the stroller. So I am putting that little refund toward the purhcase of a Graco Quattro stroller. I should have stuck with Graco since I have always been happy with them in the past.
