Not Thrilled
I bought this stroller on sale at Babies R Us. I liked that the stroller was liteweight and the colors of the stroller. I also liked the fact that you could use the basket underneath even when the carseat is in place.

>The system worked great for about a month. Then the car seat got stuck in the base and after about 30 minutes in a hot car trying to get it out, I finally had to just take my daughter out of the car seat and have my husband figure it out.

>Other negatives: The front of the stroller gets banged up when you close it down. It has already started to squeak. The car seat handle isn't the easiest thing to adjust and the canopy is very flimsy and isn't even attached to the back of the seat.

>All in all, you get what you paid for, like I said earlier I got this on sale paid less than $90, if I were to go back and do it again I would have definetly spent the money on a nicer model. I will not plan to use this for another child and hopefully it will get me through for this one!
Strongly urge against this stroller!!!!!
I consider myself a careful shopper in terms of quality, but at the same time, I am particular about appearance. I registered for the portabout 5 travel system in telluride. My husband and I had "tested" all of the strollers in the store and decided that this one had all of the features we were looking for and had cool fabric that wasn't screaming "baby". I think a large part of our problem is that we were unable to properly test this stroller with a baby in it as I was still pregnant when we got it. It seemed to be light weight enough and steer well without a baby in it, but we soon found this not to be the case a few months after our baby was born. The things that we HATE about this system FAR outnumber the things we love.

>Things we love: Nice fabric, very large stroller seat, basket, nice handle, easy recline, easy fold, good cupholders and storage compartments for parents.

>The things we hate: Poor quality!!!! It squeaks all over the place no matter how much you try to oil it, the infant carrier handle is difficult to put up and down, the carrier straps are difficult to tighten and can only be adjusted from the back (much easier with ones on the front), the shade is flimsy and is breaking off,and the carrier gets stuck in the base all the time. Also, it is MUCH heavier than any of my friend's carriers even without babies in them!! The stroller does not steer well and the wheels sometimes lock up or won't turn how you want them to, it is too wide for use inbetween some store shelves/racks, the latch to lock the stroller closed broke off, the tray needs to be removed to close the stroller, it does not sit completely upright (my daughter has solved this by holding onto the bar across the front),it is not supportive enough for a newborn (too wide and no side padding or head cradle), and it is the HEAVIEST stroller you can imagine!!!!

>My baby is now 10 months old and will soon be too large for a travel system. However, for our next child we are going to either buy a high quality infant carrier and then just use a universal carrier stroller frame, or get the new Combi Ultra Savvy EX and the infant carrier that can be used with it as a travel system. This stroller is a lightweight stroller and received the highest ratings in "Baby Bargains". (Book, or babybargains.com) So all in all, I think we might put this one into our spring yard sale.
