Customer Reviews of Pleasantville (New Line Platinum Series)
Just buy it! If you've seen it, you know why you want to own your own copy. If you haven't seen it, you have one of the best films of the last 15 years awaiting you. It helps if you were a child of the '50s, but it's not essential.
Great movie!
What more can I say about this movie that hasn't already been said? It's truly a great movie. Great script, great direction, etc. Yeah, it's a little on the quirky side, but it's a clever and very entertaining kind of quirky.

>Plus, the cast in this is also very good. I've liked Tobey Maguire and Reese Witherspoon ever since they were in the Mouseketeers together.
With the range from comedy to tragedy, Pleasantville has everything

>The introvert and the extrovert, brother and sister, get "pulled" into a 1950s black and white TV sitcom, "Pleasantville." They also bring new ideas, and Pleasantville begins to change. Is it for the worse, or the better?
