Customer Reviews of Playstation 3 Cordless MediaBoard Keyboard
Soso i don't use this keyboard.. it is work fine with my PS3...it is harder to type in PS3 than P,b
A solid, inexpensive PS3/Computer Keyboard
I got this during Amazon's one day discount. The keyboard is solid plastic, but lacks the solid feel of a standard keyboard. The case is light and the action on the keys could be a bit better.

>This keyboard is all about function and it doesn't disappoint. Range is EXCELLENT, greatly exceeding the claimed range of 30 feet. I have taken the keyboard into other rooms and it still works perfectly. The track pad works really well and has a useful scroll function.

>This keyboard isn't just for the PS3. I use this on my home computer with no issues.

>I'd give it 5 stars, but the cheap build quality and feel holds it back. I have no doubt this will be a quality keyboard, but I wish it felt a bit better in your hand.
Affordable keyboard with many uses
Well, I am sitting on my sofa right now typing the review using this keyboard through the PS3 browser. The convinience of having built-in mousepad for such use is indispenseble.
<
>Pros:
<
>- uiversal use, be it PS3, Xbox 360, your home PC/laptop or even Wii
<
>- long range. This keyboard uses not Bluetooth but rather RF technology for communicating with the receiver USB2 dongle. The range is much better then regular wireless keyboards (and I had plenty of them), plus the RF interface is more reliable then Bluetooth, so no complaints here.
<
>- PS3 fully supports this keyboard (as, I believe any other USB keybards out there). For those who complain that they still need controller to operate browser - go to the Sony's PS3 online manuals (Browser support section) and read all the shortcuts you can use with the keyboard/mouse to work on your PS3. The only thing you can not do with this keyboard is turn your PS3 on/off or play games.
<
>- keyboard is light and batteries seem to last forever. Plus it uses only 2 regualr AA batteries, so it is easy to change them. For people that complain that keyboard is not rechargeable, please go and buy yourself normal battery charger and some Ni-MH AA batteries. How many propreitary charger bricks do you need? Do you collect them?
<
>- Low price. I was able to buy this keyboar at Amazon while it was on sale for thirty greenbacks and you can often find this keyboard in salesbins at local BestBuys and CircutCities out there. Considering that this keyboard has built-in mousepad and long-range RF receiver, the feature-price combination is unbeatable.

<
>Cons:
<
>- the keys have a feel of a rather cheap laptop keyboard. They are a little stiff and don't have good tactile feedback.
<
>- the mousepad is strictly for limited use - if you plan to use it to play games on your PC that depend on mouse response - you are kiddin yourself;
<
>- the keys layout for special keys (Home, Page Up Delete, etc.) is not standard. So watch out if your are used to blind-typing as you will have a not so nice surprise here and there util you adjust to the new layout.
<
>
<
>Other omissions:
<
>- no number keypad. The space is utilized by mousepad instead. I never used this keypad on other keyboards anyway, as number keys on the top row are the ones you should use anyway for blind-typing
<
>- no Windows key - no big deal. Who uses it anyway?
<
>- no special multimedia keys (Volume Up/Down, Email, Browser, etc.) - again, in all my keyboards that had them I have never used these special keys;
<
>- Since Logitech markets this keyboard as 'Playstation 3 Mediaboard' it would be nice if they would at least indicate which keys aree being used for PS3 conroller functions. I guess, this was too much to ask.
