Customer Reviews of Playstation 2 DVD Remote Control
complainers...cool it.... I swear...everytime something beneficial comes out, someone has to complain. I think the remote control is a good idea. Number one, you don't have to get up to put the DVD movie on pause, or figure out which button to push on the controller...and the remote is wireless.Imagine if you were trying to do that with a controller...you would HAVE to get up to get close enough to the controller and system to use it.plus its WIRED (duhhhh) Who cares that it takes up a port???? YOU CAN'T PLAY THE GAME AND WATCH A DVD MOVIE AT THE SAME TIME. I'm surprised you guys aren't upset that YOU have to get up to change the discs!! Until they come out with a CD changer version of Playstation...ya'll are just out huh!?!?!?! It's no big deal to take a controller out to put the remote sensor in.I don't hear complaints from people who take their game consoles to other peoples homes to play, they have to disconnect this wire and that wire to take it out the house!!!So what's the big problem with takin out one lil wire to plug the remote in. Go 'head Sony, way to go!!!!
Great addition to ps2
OK, so it's a remote. It fulfills the purpose of the modern remote control. Some of the other reviewers didn't like the fact that it plugs into a controller port. What's the problem? If you're playing a game, you use a controller - if your watching a DVD, you use the remote. You wouldn't ever want to use them at the same time. So when you go over to the PS2 to switch from DVD to game or visa versa, you unplug one thing and plug in the other. It'll take about two seconds. That wasn't so hard, was it kids?
