Doesn't Wash Well I received this blanket as a gift and thought it was beautiful. However, I washed it according to the directions on the tag and it had 4 holes in it when I pulled it out of the dryer.
Nice, but comes apart in wash
I just got this blanket. It looked so nice! I was very happy with it. The tags all say machine washable. Before I gave it to our baby, I washed it in the gentle cycle with Woolite. I followed the instructions on the tag (warm water, low tumble dry). When I took it out of the dryer it already had three holes in it where the yarn broke apart and little bits of yarn were coming out all over. I was very disappointed. Maybe it just says machine washable but really it is not? I don't know. Anyway, I won't machine wash it anymore and hope that it lasts a bit longer.
